Preparation for Recollection
We had this so called "sharing" in our class few hours ago. We told stories about our lives (but I wasn't able to tell mine) and how it is connected on our topic, the Beatitudes. Funny, our adviser said it is a preparation for our retreat. Our retreat is a week away, starts on Wednesday, 13th of July. Huh... She just kept digging and digging up painful pasts so we could be able to reflect and be a stronger person. Yeah, she's right but wow, early much for a 13th of July retreat.

Math-ache
Oh you know the sin30° + cos45° all over cos30° + sin45°?
Yeah.. That's the one topic I couldn't understand when I work alone. My Math teacher seems to teach really slow because she talks really slow, but the truth is, she is faster than you think she is. The way she talks we'll make it more confusing.
It is tragic! I wonder why she couldn't elaborate the details in the most understandable way? i mean, freshman lessons.. so forgotten!

June 2, 2011 - The most boring day ever
I've been distracted for the longest while of my life and I can't put up my next post here. I've been obsessed with this certain website (I wouldn't name it) but it is addictive as I have experienced... have been experiencing rather.
My mom was out a few hours ago to do her business and I am dead and roasted here in my house together with my cousin, ate Tricia and Sam, niece.
I'm so roasted I can't even step out of our freaking gate because the heat is torture. And if you look at the road, you'll see gas* like the ones you see on desserts. This is hell. I would like to order 100 trucks of ice surrounding our freaking burning house, please?
And boy would that even last for 24 hours.
When mom arrived from her business, she decided to wash clothes! My brain starts to work like a newly fixed robot; you, mom is so obnoxious crying out like a scared lion who just cannot freaking stop cleaning!! She's got money, yup. But please, she's a tireless roaster who cannot stop waking people up in the dusk.
Oh geez, thank God she doesn't use computer. If she sees this, I'd be dead and roasted! Literally...
Say, I'm pretty starving. Maybe I'd grab some snack... oh that's right, I ate all my snack!!! So maybe I'll just cook instant noodles and add some rice and that would be, perfect? Oh well, I guess that will do.

I eat more, more and more.
For me, my mom's cooking is the best. Besides the fact that I'm usually not in the mood to eat her cooking, I still love it.
To be honest, there is a huge wall built between me and our kitchen (except for the refrigerator, of course). I do not cook! Maybe instant food, I do but me holding a knife and slicing carrots, potatoes, and stuff.. Never.
But guess what, I eat a lot more than you think and see. My waistline is actually 26. It is 26 and I'm not kidding. Whenever I see photos of good food, I starve myself from calm to drooling. Crazy, but true!
There were times before and still happening that I would dream of living in Ice Cream Land. For example, The Candy Land on Katy Perry's California Girls Music Video. I daydream of having a bowl banana split on my lap while reading a book of just lying on my bed. And the fact that my cousin and my other relatives are claiming that I have "bulate" in my tummy, in reality I do not, are so jealous of me being so skinny even if they feed me a whole building of ice cream.

A 5year old Camera
Yey! Today I got to buy the book that I wanted, which was Paper Cuts(by Pam Pastor). Thanks to my mom. I only asked for one, but I got two new things I could drown myself into for the next couple of weeks. Yey me!!
One more thing, the other day I found an old kiddie camera(not digital, old camera) while I was looking for something I could use to make hideous artcrafts from toothpaste boxes and other small boxes. I thought it didn't work so I got a refund from the store in states from where we actually bought it as a present for my 11th birthday. My 11th birthday. The other night, I tried to open the camera but I couldn't so I took some double A batteries because it was what I needed to make it work and guess what, it freaking did!!! After 5years of stocking it up my room, it finally worked. All I needed was a "Double A Battery, L R6". It freaking has to be "AA LR6". That fugly camera made me suffer.
But now, I'm cool with it. This afternoon, me and my mom took it to Island Photo so they can take a look and see what's wrong with my kiddie camera. Say.. they couldn't put new film because they couldn't put a new film!! It broke my heart. I don't wanna to use digital camera because I wanted to use vintage cameras. I appreciate vintage too much. So I made a fugly face but I know they wouldn't notice it because of my unpredictable facial expressions.
Well, hopefully the film from my camera can be developed so I could have several memories I could hold on to the day that camera was reborn from the dead.

Just a thing or two...
So it's been quite a while since my last post and yet, I still haven't got the photos I needed for my blog and other stuff. It sucks yeah I know..
So last Sunday, which was 15th of May, we had a little celebration in our home because it's fiesta in our place. So happy there's gonna be a lot of people again. No dorky me wishes to the mirror asking for a faster way for Christmas to arrive (it is pretty insane!!). There's lots of food, not spaghetti but pancit(bihon). Very yummy, actually! Then there's salad and more. For our main dish, Mechado, a yummy Filipino recipe; beef drowning in sauce, the way I, we kids like it. So I was the first to eat because I couldn't take my eyes off all the dish and my stomach was crying for food, so my mom agreed. I was almost done when The Adam's Family(we called them that) arrived. They're all there, but not my other cousin who joined a mountain hike (I can't remember the mountain's complicated name). I really didn't mind them arriving, I was busy eating. I chewed like they are gonna grab my food.. Nah just kidding! They came in, blah blah blah. chat with my mom, with me and with the newest dog, HATCH. Cute name, right? The breed of the dog: half Askal*, half Shiatsu.
Oh wait, I have a picture of Hatch.... (source: My cousin's account)

So here's Hatch when she was a baby. They got her with eyes closed so it is pretty fun to have seen this little cutie open her eyes for the very first time. A couple of months later...
This is Hatch when she arrived at our place for the first time. Some say she looks like a German Shepherd but no, she is not a German Shepherd dog.
So there. I can't tell you everything yet. But the story about fiesta goes on... It is a long one actually. So, stay tuned!

End of Summer Specials
So it's been quite a while since the day I got to dress up for some serious occasion and I've been broke for 3 months(no school, no allowance). So it is official: I miss going to school. Even my other friends does or they hay summer activities, and I don't. Just the worst of the worst summer ever. Oh, how I'd wish I just took my mother's advice and applied for the summer job at our city hall, I could've been stuck in a 4 cornered room with tons of melting ice together with some of the other permanent folks working there. I'm being roasted alive here!
Okay, so I've been busy looking for a really good(great, actually) book to buy before summer ends. I just finished a book called, Crush Du Jour by Micol Ostow. It took me a day(or less) to finish the book. It's just a short novel about a girl's way to her man's heart(which she thought was through the stomach). They love cooking so it wasn't really difficult for her to put the cherry on top of her life.
I'm a bored, broke kid!
Tomorrow, it's Mother's day. And I don't have any idea on how to make this day special for my momS. Yes, moms with a capital S. See, well you can't actually see it but I'm an adopted child(adopted by my real mother's auntie). To be honest, there's this Hundred Years War going on between them. It's complicated but that's the most facts I could lay on the table.
Woopie! Mother's Day Special, how am I suppose to make it special if I have no idea what to do?! My head's currently focused on what book should I buy. Mmmmmm . . .
I think I'd go on buying for my foster mom. Then for my real mother, I don't really know yet. Maybe we'll celebrate it today? Can you please help me? Ideas?
Sadly, I don't cook. I'm not a master in our kitchen, you know. I cook, the most basic things in the world: rice, instant noodles and canned goods. I mean, that is not even cooking, right? You just heat it up for it's already cooked(well, not really cook, cook). You get the idea.
So that's what I've been up to this whole summer. To be honest, the reading part was not planned. I just felt like reading because I read it in a magazine! Well, thanks to that magazine my summer's not a total bore! And hey there, please help me think of something that would make Mother's Day special for my mothers? I'm a bit lazy to do a lot of work, but I guess I'll make an exception. It's mother's day anyway.

Not The Best
Okay, so I have to admit (to anyone out there), I'M NOT A BORN WRITER!!! I don't have talent in writing. I'm not even sure of what I'm capable of doing, I'm working on it but still...I can't because the world's more dangerous than ever and my mom is turning to this insane giant lips who tries to eat me when I wanna explore my town and the other towns. I suck at this blogging thing but I can't stop blogging. You see this is the only place, and I meant the only place where I can tell someone, whoever the heck is reading my blog my sort of life experience. I am such a Inexperienced person. I've got this independence I can't even master and I'm still the typical girl who comes crawling back to mommy when she tripped, or when she's got boo-boo's. Ooooh, I can't even find a summer job because it's against our law.
So every summer has been a living doom for me especially when there's no outdoor stuff to do or maybe cancelled outing maybe because some are not interested, chooses the people they wanna be with, they have other plans. It's good thing that I have my friends with me to accompany me with on my "oh my so boring summer".
So by this moment, I am currently talking to my friend and she's talking about her experiences about her life and most importantly, her love life. Her love life's like this movie every girl dreams of. She has this relationship complication and I'm here listening to her (we're using our cellphones) and giving out advices if it's in need and here I am, one of the boys. I envy her because of her situation though I know that it's tough for her and I will always be here for her no matter what. so there are times that I thought that maybe, God wants me to become a nun! For instance, charity work which I have got to continue, I suck or maybe having no relationship... "God, please... I'm not desperate but wouldn't it be nice if you lend me one of your beloved son to accompany me with my blessed everyday life. Thank you. I love you."
I'll tell more soon...

Worth No Money I
Hey there! So I know that it has been a while since my last post here. I enjoyed my few days of summer before school knocks it down so, yeah. So here are some photos of the happenings last time.
Alrighty! Those photos my friend are just teasers!~ It's really fun. We had a 12hour bonding day!!! *my place* (first time ey?!)
So, I'll keep in touch for more photos. I'll see you soon! Love for all!

Her sneakers. Her cool, dirty sneakers!
On the left side of this photo is the PowerPlant Mall. it's surrounded by tall towers so you can't see the mall from afar, only the buildings.
This is The Grove Residence building. There's more tower to be honest. They're currently building one in front of the mall.

A year 2000 "one peso coin"
I look really pretty here. No make up and covered in sweat after a long jog around the whole residence.
Behind us is the Ateneo School of Professionals at The Grove.
So here she took a photo of my rosary, the one I brought wherever I go.
It's perfect for Holy Week!
This photo is hard for me to capture. There are lots of leaves surrounding it
and it's far from where I'm standing but this is the result so I'm still happy.
These flowers were taken by me! They're not for high photography, just for fun.
This shot right here is my fist shot! :)

16 at work
Today, my sister is having her interview where her friend is working. But before that, she's gonna meet up with my mom. She actually lives in Cavite for this summer. So it 2hours away from our official city...
She told me that I should give her some of my fashion sketches so she could show them to whoever is suppose to see it. You know, they might like it but I don't wanna get my hopes up and yet, I have my hopes up! She also blackmailed me by not giving me the stuff, the ones I left in Cavite. She's so bad but I'm just like that somehow, worse. Heyah...
My sketches were messy, it's not together. I had to make 4-5 sketches (I only made 4 sketches) drawn on a short bond paper. I finished a few minutes ago, it was chic, sleek and (for me..) it's a teen's high fashion. I am actually in love with vintage stuff and vintage couture garments so I had my designs inspired by the 1950's and up. I have to make it look modern-vintage so it's not easy making it. I'm not really used to drawing a woman in a dress except for drawing a circle for the head, a triangle for the dress and 4 lines for hands and feet. But that's totally crazy, I mean I know I can do better but it's not my forte... It's so frustrating.
I hope they realized that my sample sketches were good..or better! I wanted a job for fun. It is so boring in our house. There's a lot going on outside but the sun is smiling too big nowadays! I wish my sister gets the job and she could help me get one too! *Hahahaha.* I am a very adventurous person so I wanna try everything I see that's really fun and super awesome! But there's a bit of a problem, right there... I W-A-S N-O-T A-L-L-O-W-E-D FOR SUPER AWESOME ADVENTURES! >:| That's a nerve-wracking idea.
Am I too young to work? I'm 16 and still treated like a baby?... I wish the world's EVIL-FREE so I could do extreme adventures. I hate being treated like a baby, but what can I do? I am "the baby". *Sighs*
One more thing: my grandma is my mother. My real mother, I still call her mom but there's a WW3 going on between these two so I'm not allowed to talk to my real mom but sometimes I break the rules if I have no else to run to. My grandmother doesn't like traveling a lot so we stay at home almost "all the time"! Old people.... tsk. But I still love her, you know.
So, can you give me advice on what should I do this summer? I actually have my friend with me doing stuff together. But sometimes, we're having troubles like having pocket holes so it's a disaster for us. So...? Any ideas? Anyone? My mind's seems to be a bit desperate, so I'm in a crazy situation here :)

Out for Fun!
Quality photos isn't the best way to express fun moments and good people. Sometimes, you just have to do the opposite to see something in someone else's smile which doesn't meet the eye.
![]() |
| Here, behind you see some used kitchen stuff we used for our chocolate-coffee drink. It was delish! |
![]() |
| This is her artwork. "Darius" was someone special to him. She's pretty amazing, I know! |
This is my good friend, Michele Lenin Roces. She's outgoing, vivacious and so much more.
We love to hang out at her place and do crazy and fun stuff! We like to dress up using her
mom's vintage clothes or we have our own clothes to style it the way we wanted.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE ARTWORK PHOTOS:
![]() |
| This one's was unfinished as you see. But it's still "wow!"...right? :) |
![]() |
| I took the opportunity to take a photo of myself (though it's not good) while she's fixing the dvd of Black Swan. |
![]() |
| I know, I know... To much happiness. But something was funny!! I'm a natural smile-r. :) |
![]() |
| So she took this one while I played the stuff in my bag, on the bed and the other cameras they have. |
You see? Okay, some photos were bad enough to be here so I didn't put 'em all here. But I think these are good enough, right? Anyway, we might not have the kind of summer we wanna have but this summer is awesome for us! We get to have adventures on our own as incoming SENIORS!!! I mean, who gets to get up at 4/5am in the morning to get ready for a 6am jogging at The Grove, Rockwell, Makati? We were actually gona jog at 5am at The Grove but I had cramps and it was really dark so I told her 5:30am it is. It so happens that our 5:30 was a 6am :) But I guess that's a good start for starters!

Money Exchange Student
Because of the world economy crisis, many people lost their jobs, houses, and every luxury they used to have. Who's to blame? It's us. We all made it happen.
Let's say 3 out of 10 people are willing to help out to save Mother Earth. But what about the rest? Are they living for the better or they're just living for themselves? Some say they're doing such crimes to help their loved ones out. But that help*, is that enough for them to feel the warmth of sunrise until they the day they got their first gray hair? I guess not...
I am just so torn about this calamity happening. One mistake could definitely affect all. It changes everything. See this economy crisis... It's affecting our lives, well my life. I'm so upset of how I can't just tell the world that we should all work together to save this planet. But hey!... who would listen to a 16year old like me huh?? Am I some brat who knows how to care for her planet but still cannot seriously do anything?!
I'm saying this because my mom's thinking about transferring me to another school for my senior year. As far as I know it's not being entertained because, I'm a graduating student! I don't wanna stop attending school because of money crisis. You see this? People don't have money to spend for their everyday needs because of low economy. It's good on how she helps her brother because he got fired. It's actually kind of her, but if he haven't lost his job, she wouldn't think of transferring me to other school...right?
It's just so frustrating on how the world is gonna end, TERRIBLE ENDING.
We all wanna live life to its very fullest but how could we do that? I admit that somehow I only think about how I look or let's say, me... only me. It's horrible and I feel that. But humans are not perfect. We were made with pure imperfection. Know why? It's because God did it on purpose! He wants us to be the one to finish the miraculous beauty he started a thousand of years ago. We are actually born to save and continue the wonders of His creation. That is why.
So now, I suffer of heartbreak and sealed lips (sighs). I can't stand the fact of being an outcast like Chicken Little. He's a chick who has good friends but still feels like he's got chickenpox that never disappears.
What should I do? I don't want to transfer but something in me says it's time to consider it. I don't want to leave my friends. There has been bad and great memories yeah... the ones who made me today. A part of my heart also says that it's time to leave the bird cage and be free, think outside the box.
It this what life means? I guess... HELP would be good. Anyone???
Babyyyyy
Okay, so These photos were taken 4th of April at Cavite. It took me a few days to redeem these photos so...
PS: Sorry for the faces. She's playful while sitting on me so... :)

| This kid is Kyss*, my niece. I was checking out my other accounts then she came dragging a chair to climb up to me. So I decided to take photos of us using he laptop :D |

| You know, our faces were ugly here yeah... But these faces show how happy we are. I love this kid. |
Graduate, Cousin!
My cousin is a college student. But today, she's a graduate. She studied at Adamson University(Philippines) and took up BA Information Technology. What a milestone.
My cousin and I aren't that close. Actually, we were never close to each other! Not a bit. I our family, I'm not that socialized. Yeah, I know it's quite crazy. But that's me! I do not know why but I'm not that close to them. Well, maybe few like less than 5 and there's tons of them so... It's pretty obvious that I'm a shy guy.
You know that's the weird thing? 'cause when I'm at school or somewhere else, I'm so friendly! I like meeting new people, socialize with them and other stuff. I guess my blood line's not so well connected to me.
I wish I could also graduate in a major way!! I envy her. Puh-lease... I know it's up to me but what can I do?? Math and I don't bond so well. I'm always the "X Factor" that's being eliminated to get the right answer. So it's gonna be a tough journey for me.
Right now, it's spring!! But there's no spring in our tropical country. I'm already a senior. Can you believe it? I am surviving high school even though there's too much obstacles and bad influences out there.
I wish it'll all turn out the exact events with my clever cousins so it wouldn't be so hard to pass high school.

Love for Fashion
Not everyone have fashion importance in them. It's not a bad thing, really. If one feels comfortable on what he/she wears, it's cool. But isn't it nice if you look more presentable which gives you a boost of confidence and a good impression from others which is good for you! For others, fashion is just a way of being noticed while walking down the street or "can you afford one of the garments I'm wearing?" It's crazy how opinionated people are. I consider myself opinionated too... Do you see how fashion changes the world?
Fashion Designers all over the world have visions on what a woman should and wanted to wear which is fascinating to find because a single designer finds it difficult to come up with the right garment and style for his/her new upcoming collection. A woman has her own taste, likes and she also has her own sense of fashion. These clothes are made to state what a woman has to say or feel, what kind of person is she or what she wants to be. In short, fashion is an element of where we can express our character. Which is why I love fashion. It's the only way I could express my thoughts and feelings without saying anything. Through my clothes, I can tell everything!
You see how fun fashion can be? The thought of a designer was interpreted through the garment he/she made and how the buyer saw the designer's intention of making it by how she wears it. I know, how I speak is very confusing. I'm not really good at this, but this is only way could really tell someone my thoughts... if anyone is really reading. Anyone?
Last 2 weeks I was about to buy a garment for this summer. But my mom stopped me and said, "Why are you even planning on buying this garment when you have other clothes to use? Besides, you will only wear this once or twice. If you feel like you don't want it anymore, you stuck it in your wardrobe. It's just a waste of money!" When she said that I found it actually true! and that's where I reminded myself, "Never buy clothes you will wear once or twice or maybe, never! You're only wasting money." Shiz. My mom really...
I know she's telling the truth. That is why I happened to be saving money for my useful personal needs!
Sometimes, to make use of my old fashion clothes, I crop them of design them according to what I want! and that is a very hard task to do. You have to measure your body length and use that measurement for cutting or sewing the clothe you're gonna redesign. This is the reason why I fell in so much love for fashion. It's quite a disaster sometimes...
My sister, has a tiny sense of fashion because of taking care of two children, is really frustrating not so often. She has got to get out of those hideous tiny fashion sense and get out as a cool fashionable mom! She's got this fil-beauty and is really bothering me because she out-of-track since the day she got labor. It sucks! There were several times I've been trying to help her choose the right clothes to wear for going out but, blagh!... she's not listening to me. Hey, I just want her to look more presentable, ey!
Ohh.. Fashion... style... fashion... style... fashion. When will you ever give up?
I think that the fashion industry in our generation now are really trying to reborn the old fashion before making it modern yet vintage style, retro-modern, and many more. It's amazing how designers come up with this. Makes me wonder, how do they know what style is in for the next season or year? Well, bravo to them!
Now, the new lines for fashion styles are the 70's - 80's look. Yeah, yeah... It's been a long time since I've hated the 70's. As far as I know, it was the worst generation. Gah. But not all the 70's look I hate. Only those wide-legged jeans and those peace signs. But that was before! Now I know why there were like that. Thanks to a movie I don't even know the title. Dumb really...
I'm blaming my mother for giving away all her vintage clothes. I love vintage clothes! I wish I could find some for free... You know wearing them gives me the feeling of appreciation to the first Einstein's who discovered the world of fashion. So I raise 2 thumbs up to them! They're the source of my strength and eagerness of becoming a fashion designer someday.
So now I say, love those mankind who doesn't have the appreciation for fashion and the ones who do. Fashion is our way of expressing ourselves which makes us unique. In these styles, we discover what kind of person a person truly is. Fashion is Us!
Now reader, how well do you appreciate fashion? The way you appreciate garments is the way how you appreciate a designer...

A Night of Revelry
Ah yes! One of the most memorable events of a high school student has arrived but never left. February 12th of 2011, a night we waited for. A single mistake can't even mess it up. It was a night of revelry, indeed. A night of freedom, being true to myself... The moment I walked the halls of that school, I knew.. It was going to be a celebration of our lives. Each teen's faces had marked excitement and freedom. After all those hard work the Juniors and Seniors had gone through, finally!... A time to rest.. A time to treasure.. Forever. Truly a teen needs independence. That moment where no parents allowed, no rules, just happiness and respect. Yeah... The table I was assigned really sucks!! But hey.. It didn't matter to me. I wouldn't let a table of girls and boys ruin my night of revelry, am I? I mean who would want to brag about a sinking ship at a time like that.. No one. Beautiful red roses displayed at a colorful garden filled with joy and vivacious warm and cold breeze blending together. The sparkling diamonds placed at the students' eyes were irreplaceable. The stars glowing brightly at the sky and the moon, shining perfectly at us. It was perfection! The flawless heels hitting the dance floor was loud!... I never expected it to be so...spectacular. Not even a tiny bug could ruin such night. Not even swollen feet because of getting stomped nor tired of wearing 4inches heels could erase all these in our minds.. Not even Einstein could calculate the total happiness I felt that night. Even Shakespeare couldn't picture my face while rocking the dance floor...

It's a bad shot. I KNOW!! But heyyyyyy... You could see how fun we're having. (Photo taken before our Candle Ceremony) Hey! We're Juniors ! Next year(hopefully), we're Seniors! About to graduate the high school life of PCS and enter another dimension called "College"...
(My apologies. still working on my blogging skills... so)
